Recheck the official source, capture a new immutable snapshot, and link it to the prior snapshot as superseding evidence.
Corrections
A changed fact becomes a new snapshot.
Permit Archive does not treat the latest value as permission to erase prior evidence. Corrections preserve the source trail and clearly identify what was superseded.
Process
Source correction and display suppression are different actions.
Display correction
Fix a reproducible transformation or labeling error, rebuild the public view, and retain the underlying source evidence.
Privacy suppression
Hide the record from every public surface through a separate overlay without silently changing the source archive.
